2009 - I Erland Haugan appointed Technical Manager - PG Hydraulics Erland is machine engineer and have a versatile background in the maritime and mechanical industry. 2008 - IX PGH moves into new, extended production facilities at Eggesbønes Having spent its first 10 months of operation in joint locations with Skipsservice, PGH could take benefit of the completed new-building during December 2008. Through this, PGH now have modern, spacious, and purpose-built manufacturing sites - which will enable PGH to plan for further growth
2008 - VIII PGH receive orders for hydraulic systems for 10 x UT 755 PSVs PG secured a series of 10 x Rolls Royce Design UT 755 PSV from Nam Cheong / Malaysia, and award contracts for building hydraulic systems for these to PG Hydraulics. Delivery commence Q2-09, onwards. PGH now hold order reserves for 2009, which will allready secure at least doubling of the sales in the year to come!
2008 - VII More NOFO 2005-Systems for PG Hydraulics from Ing Per Gjerdrum AS PGH is now established as the main supplier to PG, for hydraulic systems and components, in parallell to Parker Hannifin AS. PG has placed large volumes of orders with PGH, balancing well the business structure of the company compared to other local business. Having secured very high market shares in their market during the last years, PG provide significant business for PGH.
2008 - VI PG Marine Group place HPU-orders for 10 GPA-design IMRV vessels PG continue in strong style, having secured large PG-packages for a series of 10 IMRV ( Intervention Maintenance Repair Vessels ) under construction at SinoPacific Shipbuilding / China, for French Owner Groupe Bourbon. PGH is consequently contracted to deliver Hydraulic Power Packs and Hydraulic Components to these vessels.
2008 - V Rolls-Royce place serial order for VROS-units with PGH In a booming marine market, PGH benefit from the close relationship to Rolls Royce Marine, from which series of orders from their Propeller Division in form of Hydraulic Power Packs named VROS-Modules. Several units leave our manufacturing site each month, and orders in reserve for 2009 delivery is considderable.
2008 - IV Fiskerstrand Verft enters into agreements with PG Hydraulics PGH has already positioned itself well for hydraulic systems to the local industry at Nordwest Landet. June marked a new milestone for PGH, as ordres for hydraulic systems for 3+2 ferries at Fiskerstrand Verft were secured. HPU's and cylinders for a.o. operation bow- and stern- gates will commence delivery Q3-08 onwards
2008 - III PGH moves into newbuilding at Eggesbøneset with Skipsservice PGH is now settled into new environments, though its move into the Skipsservice new building at Eggesbøneset outside Aalesund. before the building is completed, the next building-steps to increase capacity for manufacturing and offices is already initialted. Foundation is cast, and construction material is already at site, for another 1500m2 moderne combination-building. Completion is expected for Q3-08
2008 - II First system & component orders received from Roll Royce Propeller PGH adds to their already substantial order backlog with orders for hydraulic servo-units and valves in acc. with previously mentioned Frame Agreement. Further info will follow ...
2008 - I Frame Agreement with Rolls Royce Marine secured A major Frame Agreement has been secured for PG Hydraulics AS with RR Propeller, into which PGH will supply Servo-units and corresponding hydraulic components.
2007 - II Roger Kaldhol appointed Managing Director - PG Hydraulics AS
2007 - I PG Hydraulics AS established as Hydraulic Technology Centre To cater for own requirements, and offer extended services to the very tight market place, PG has initiated a separate company on the West Coast - namely Eggesbønes close to Ålesund - in which a Hydraulic Technology Centre is being facilitated. PGH is jointly owned by PG Marine Group - Ing Per Gjerdrum AS, and Ulstein Marine Technology AS.
